We have asked local screenwriters to submit works in progress and have brought in professional actors to read the scripts and give feedback. The read is a great way to hear new work, support local writers and actors and learn about the script writing process. You as an audience member will have the opportunity to ask questions as well. It’s free to participate.
The schedule, links, and bios of the filmmakers and a list of actors to the daily readings can be found on the 2024 Festival page once available.

Unfortunately, many independently made films are not always captioned or subtitled. However, we are currently collecting information as to which films are and will list that on the 2024 Film Guide (coming soon!).

The films in the ROXFILM@HOME (online) program have been curated to watch in blocks. There are short films that precede features and shorts blocks created by theme.
For the best viewing experience, they should be watched by block. When you buy a ticket to that block, you will have access to all the films in that block.
Online films are available to watch from 10:00 am on June 27th to 11:59 pm on July 2.
For additional information on renting and streaming, please see the RoxFilm@Home page (coming soon!) here.

Unfortunately, no. Our streaming platform has all films geolocated in the United States so only devices located in the U.S. can stream the films.
