A young woman with supernatural abilities must go on the run when her powers are discovered and mysterious forces begin to hunt her. With nowhere else to go, she returns to her family, and the farmhouse she abandoned long ago. There, she begins to mend her broken relationships with her mother and daughter while gathering the strength to face her enemies. Largely unseen by American audiences due to a tragic lack of marketing, this indie superhero stunner is an apt metaphor for issues of representation in Hollywood, where Black women are still too rarely given space to showcase their abilities.
