Wolf and Cub

A father and son cross into a world of imagination in order to return a bag of their mother’s forgotten lunch. The friends and colleagues of Marvin Bynoe have organized and put this film together based off his thesis film script, which he wrote days before he passed away.

Last Phone Call

Directed by Mackleen Desravines (USA, 2022, 10 min.).

On the day of her mother’s funeral, a young woman recalls the various phone calls she made in the months before the death—including her last conversation with her mother, who was suffering from dementia.

One of Those Families

Directed by Stephanie Joline (Canada 2024, 3 min.).

One of Those Families is a deeply personal animated short film that brings together the exquisite hand-painted illustrations of Mi’kmaw artist Pauline Young, the animation expertise of Struan Sutherland, and the poignant poetry of Rebecca Thomas.
